EXTRACTIONS

They are recommended when a tooth is beyond repair due to decay, damage, or impaction. Surgical extraction of an impacted wisdom tooth (3rd molar) is also routinely carried out in our centre.

Extractions are performed in the dental operatory under conventional local anaesthesia. In more complex cases, the service of an anaesthetist is utilised for administration of general anaesthesia.

Post-extraction care, including pain management and maintenance of oral hygiene, is crucial to ensure a smooth and comfortable recovery.
